North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Lenstranden on September 23, 1847 and emigrated to America in 1873 to Chicago, Illinois. He went from there to Ishpeming, Michigan as an iron mine worker. He came to Aneta, North Dakota in 1884 and took a homestead seven miles north of Aneta, North Dakota and he has lived there since 1905.
His wife, Emilia Studerud, is from Hoiland. Four of his children live around Aneta, North Dakota.
He has worked as an Assessor for Ora Township for eleven years.
