Finley, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Sund on February 6, 1865 and emigrated to America in 1868 to Minnehaha, South Dakota . He moved that same fall to Steele County, North Dakota and has been a farmer there since. His son-in-law, Hans Thoresen, now operates the farm. He now lives in Finley, North Dakota and has a life of ease as a "retired" farmer. He was one of the most eager collectors for an organ for his hometown church.
