Hatton, North Dakota
was born in Haegebostad, Lister, on April 26. His parents names were Aanen T. Tjornhom and Malene Soland. He went to Flekkefjord citizen school from 1881 to 1883, Hauges Vinde from 1883 to 1884, Arnebergs Latin School in Kristiania fro 1884 to 1885. He had a seamans commission in Amsterdam, Holland from 1887 to 1890. He came to America in 1890. He attended Mt. Airy Lutheran Seminar from 1890 to 1891.
He was a Priest in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1891 to 92; St. Paul, Minnesota from 1893 to 1898 and Fergus Falls, Minnesota fro 1899 to 1905.
He was an immigrant commissioner at Ellis Island, New York from 1906 to 1910. He was a priest in Northwood, North Dakota from 1910 to 1913 and in Hatton, North Dakota since 1913.
