Kathryn, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Osen, Annex to Aamodt, on July 25, 1839. He lived in Stange for three years at Gaarden Vie and emigrated to America in 1867 to Fillmore County, Minnesota, and lived there about 14 years. He came to Valley City in 1881 and took a homestead in Ramsey County, North Dakota near Lisbon. He was a farmer until 1897 and now lives with his daughter, Thea, who is married to Edward Rodlien, who is a farmer in Burns County.
They had nine children, six alive. His oldest son, Ole Vie, lives in Fargo, and is in the insurance business. Oscar has a store in Braddoch, North Dakota and Arthur has a farm in Bowman County, North Dakota.
