Mayville, North Dakota
was born in Trondhjem on May 26, 1868. His father was Pastor Nils Th. Ylvisaker and his mother was Kirsti Ørbek Hunder. They came to America in 1868. He attended Luther Coll. From 1881 to 1888 (A. B.) and Luther Seminary from 1889 to 1891 (C. T.). He was a Priest in Great Falls, Montana from 1891 to 1892; Helena, Montana from 1892 to 1893 and Mayville, North Dakota since 1893. He married Delia Davidsen in 1892.
