The blue square represents a possible future building expansion. It shows the existing 80' x 60' building being extened 80' to the east to add 4,800 SF. The existing building contains the Blacksmith Shop, Pioneer Village and the printing presses.
The red square represents a possible future parking lot.
The addition would be a metal building with the roof joists running north-south at 20' on center, similar to the existing building.
Possible uses:
- Possibly insulated and heated for year-round usage.
- Possible new entry area to the museum
- Possible new gift shop in this area
- Possible new offices in this area.
- Possible heated workshop for artifact restoration in the winter time. Workshop would have (donated) electric table saw, chop saw, painting area, etc.
