Thomas Jonathan Cooper who was born on February 22,
1804 at Shoreham, Vermont and died on January 26, 1889 at Devalan, Wisconsin.
He married Hannah Caroline Baker. She was born on June 15, 1807 at Bridport, Vermont and died on February 6, 1862 at Lima, Washtenaw County,
Michigan. They were married on December 22, 1825 at Shoreham Vermont.
Thomas Cooper was a farmer by occupation. He was also one
of the pioneer settlers of Michigan, where he moved with his family in 1832.
They first moved to a town called Lima in Washtenaw County, Michigan. They
resided there for a number of years. Later they moved to Minnesota.
Thomas Cooper and Hannah Caroline Baker had 11 children.
