on January 21, 1632/33 Erlenbach, Switzerland. She was the daughter of
Marti Kammer and Margret Witwer and she was born in Latterbach, Bern,
Switzerland about 1611.
They had 7 children and the oldest was Hans
Lotscher.

He came to America in 1722 aboard the "Marlborough" and settled first in
Germantown, later moved to York County, Pennsylvania. He died on December
8, 1760 in Reading Township, York County, Pennsylvania.
He married Mary (?) about 1728. She was born about 1710 in Europe and died on
December 8, 1760 in York County, Pennsylvania.
They had 7 children and the 6th child was John Christian Latshaw.
- John Christian Latshaw was born in 1747 in Pennsylvania and died in
1785, Bladen Co., North Carolina. He married Mary Magdalena Busser 1782,
daughter of Henry Busser. She was born February 2, 1758 in Little York,
Pennsylvania, and died on October 26, 1830.
They had 5 children and the oldest was John Christian Latshaw.
- John Christian Latshaw was born on December 12, 1783, Baltimore, Baltimore
Co., Maryland and died in Peoria, Illinois. He married Mary Dennison on February
18, 1810 in Emmitsburge, Frederick County, Maryland. She was the daughter
of Andrew Denison and Ann Barclay. She was born on September 24, 1792 in
Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and died in 1869. They had 12
children and William Denison Latshaw was the oldest.
- William Denison Latshaw was born February 7, 1811 in Baltimore, Baltimore
County, Maryland, and died on August 4, 1876 in Paris, Edgtar County, Illinois.
He married Harriet Scribner Chapman on April 12, 1846 in Charleston, Coles
County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Thomas Chapman and Abigail
Jackson. She was born on December 31, 1825 in Paoli, Orange County,
Indiana, and died May 7, 1902 in Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado. They had
10 children and their third child was Elizabeth Colquit Latshaw.
Elizabeth Colquit Latshaw who was born on April 17,
1850 in Charleston, Coles County, Illinois on April 17, 1850 and died on
November 14, 1916 in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. She
married Henry Harrison Cooper on August 26, 1875 in Hot Springs Arkansas
