Hannaford Rites for Mrs. Bakken

Hannaford, North Dakota - Mrs. Markus Bakken, 75, long time resident here and mother of a Fargoan died Tuesday in a hospital in Cooperstown, North Dakota after a cerebral hemorrhage the day before. 

Mrs. Bakken was the mother of John Bakken, 315 18th Street South, Fargo.  The funeral will be at 2 Friday in Hannaford Lutheran Church the Rev. Alex Thompson officiating.

Mrs. Bakken, the former Anna Sebby, was born in Hardangen, Norway, August 13, 1882, and was married to Mr. Bakken here in November, 1911.

Besides her husband and the Fargo son she leaves another son, Arthur, of Crookston, Minnesota, and two daughters, Mrs. Claude (Myrtle) Freer, Hannaford, and Mrs. Ivar (Thelma) Nelson, Phelps, New York,
