Charles L. Cooper, son of Thomas J. Cooper, married Laura Husel who was born in 1858 in St. Claire, Michigan.

Charles L. Cooper was a mining engineer in Victor, Colorado for awhile and resided in Cooperstown at the time of his death in 1947. 

Note that Charles L. Cooper married Laura Husel and his uncle Millard Fillmore Washburn married Mary Husel.  I'm not sure how or if Laura Husel and Mary Husel were related.
